2000 molecular weight methyl MQ silicone resin is a methyl-type MQ silicone resin composed of monofunctional M and tetrafunctional Q segments. It has a moderate molecular weight, good solubility, and excellent compatibility. It possesses good reinforcing, tackifying, film-forming, hydrophobic, high and low temperature resistance, and aging resistance properties. It has good compatibility with dimethyl silicone oil, various silicone rubbers, and organic resin systems, making it a widely used functional resin in silicone materials.

In the field of silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives, 2000 molecular weight methyl MQ silicone resin serves as a core tackifying and reinforcing component. It can be compounded with 107 adhesive, high-viscosity silicone oil, etc., to prepare high-performance silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives, significantly improving the initial tack, holding power, and peel strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. It imparts excellent high and low temperature resistance, weather resistance, and aging resistance to the adhesive layer. It is widely used in high-temperature silicone tapes, PI high-temperature resistant tapes, double-sided silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives, electronic insulating tapes, die-cut tapes, and other products, achieving stable and reliable adhesion to various substrates.

In the field of high-temperature coatings and protective coatings, as a film-forming component and functional additive, it can be used to prepare high-temperature resistant, weather-resistant, and hydrophobic protective coatings, improving the adhesion of the coating to substrates such as metals, glass, and ceramics, and enhancing the coating's heat resistance, stain resistance, aging resistance, and insulation properties. It is suitable for high-temperature anti-corrosion coatings, electrical insulation coatings, industrial protective coatings, and hydrophobic dustproof coatings.

In terms of mold release agents and surface treatment agents, it can improve the film-forming properties and durability of mold release agents, making it suitable for efficient demolding of rubber, plastics, polyurethane, and other products without contaminating the mold or product surface. It can also be used as a material surface treatment agent, forming a stable hydrophobic film on the substrate surface, providing dustproof, weather-resistant, and protective functions.
