Applications of Ultra-High Viscosity Dimethyl Silicone Oil (SF-200-3)

Ultra-high viscosity dimethyl silicone oil generally refers to polydimethylsiloxane with a viscosity ranging from 10,000 mm²/s to 1 million mm²/s. It possesses high temperature resistance, weather resistance, low volatility, high lubricity, high insulation, strong hydrophobicity, and excellent viscoelasticity. Its film-forming properties, sealing properties, and lubrication durability are far superior to ordinary viscosity silicone oils. It is widely used in rubber and plastics, lubrication, electrical, daily chemical, coating, machinery, and sealing damping industries.

In rubber and plastics processing and modification, ultra-high viscosity dimethyl silicone oil can serve as a highly efficient mold release agent, internal lubricant, and softener for rubber, silicone, plastics, and polyurethane. It improves demolding efficiency, prevents products from sticking to the mold and scratching, improves processing fluidity, enhances surface smoothness and softness, and also provides toughening, anti-yellowing, and anti-aging effects, thereby extending the service life of products.

In the field of lubrication and protection, it is suitable for long-term lubrication of precision machinery, bearings, gears, guide rails, and metal, plastic, and rubber friction pairs under high and low temperature conditions. It can form a stable lubricating film, reduce friction loss, and is suitable for extreme environments where ordinary lubricating oils are insufficient. In the field of sealing and damping, its high viscosity and viscoelasticity are utilized as sealing fillers for equipment, pipelines, and valves, as well as shock-absorbing and damping media for precision instruments, home appliances, and automotive parts. It provides sealing and leak prevention, shock absorption, and noise reduction, maintaining stable sealing and damping effects even in high and low temperature environments.

In the textile and building materials industry, it can be used for fabric softening and waterproofing, improving fabric smoothness, softness, and water resistance.
